Hi, my name is Ashley. I am the owner of The Modest Woman Boutique.

My journey to opening a boutique came about as I was nursing my youngest daughter, Alivia. I became frustrated with the lack of nursing friendly dresses in my closet. This prompted me to go shopping! I was unable to find any functional outfits for the season I was in, but I did have a light bulb moment.

I realized, since I had started having children in 2017, I had put all my mental energy into my children and forgot that I love dressing in cute, quality clothes that make me feel beautiful and confident! When I choose to get dressed for the day, instead of wearing lounge clothes all day, everyday, I thrive and my mental health is so much better! I decided to let go of the pre-pregnancy clothes my new body was never going to fit into again, and instead start loving the body that has given me four beautiful children.

After lots of prayer and seeking God's guidance, the idea of The Modest Woman Boutique was born. I strive to help women love their bodies and feel confident in what they are wearing. Whether you are in the trenches of motherhood learning how to love your postpartum body, or a mature women learning to love the changes that come with age, Livvy Avenue Boutique has something for you!
